Driver's Safety Never Prepared You For This!
For those of you not familiar with the NW, most of the rumors are true, about it raining here like 360 days a year (which I gladly propagate if it means less people keep moving here, cause it really is one of the most beautiful places to live!)
Well, lately we've had a bit of a cold spell to go along with that moisture and the results have been some rather slippery conditions. Case in point...the family Explorer going swirly as my wife was driving home with our daughter today.
Believe it or not there was actually VERY little damage done to the Explorer. (Ford, if you're listening, we're happy to do a paid endorsement!!) And thank God everyone was unharmed, albeit a bit shaken up.
Our next door neighbor was kind enough to give us a tow out, and now we'll just wait and see how much the City/County/State (whoever) tries to charge us to make the repairs to their fence.
All I can say is thank God nobody was hurt, and that my wife was able to control the car to at least minimize the damage.
